Russ, Hot Link Data's owner, has been heavily into computers for more than 17 years now, and formerly worked as lead programmer and IT manager for a major national corporation.  His experience includes credit card programming certifications under Vital, VisaNet, Nova, FDR, & NDC front end processing networks, founded Boot Hill, a premier 16 line modem BBS system in Southern California in the early 90s, earned the title of "Lector/Proof Reader" for the Computer Journal & Internet Surfer magazines, has many published computer related articles, totes a full page write up in the Las Vegas Review Journal, and has guest appeared on radio and TV computer talk shows. 

On a lighter side, Russ' seasonal passion is Halloween.  His house, which has appeared in local newspapers and hosted live news broadcasts, is transformed each year into a amazing outdoor haunt filled with moving homemade props and special effects.  Click here to visit the site featuring his home's transformation each year.

Russ loves family time, and devotes his weekends to play time with his twin children and beautiful wife Michelle.   The whole family scuba dives, (the kids received their certifications just weeks after their 10th birthday) and love to take family trips to tropic locales.  Russ does his best to make it to nearby Lake Mead 2 or 3 times a month for deep water technical dives and exploration.

Other hobbies & interests include paintball, beer brewing, home improvements, hiking & camping.
